Book and deck reviews
A comparison catches you while you are still deciding between two books. A review catches you once you have decided and are looking for a reason not to buy. Every review here names what the book gets wrong as well as what it gets right, and says plainly where the evidence stops.
None of these books is therapy. Several of them deal with trauma, and reading about your own history without support can be harder than expected. If material surfaces that does not settle, a licensed mental health professional is the right next step, not another book.
