When you create a Deep Mirror account, we collect:
- Email address
- Password (encrypted)
- Payment information (processed by Stripe)
Journal Data
Your journal entries are encrypted and stored securely. We cannot read your reflections. Only you have access to your journal content.
Usage Data
We collect anonymous data to improve the service:
- Which archetypes are drawn (no personal context)
- General usage patterns
- Technical error reports

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Journal entries use end-to-end encryption - even we cannot decrypt them. We use industry-standard security practices and regularly audit our systems.

- Delete your account and all data
- Opt out of any communications
- Request data corrections
Third-Party Services
We use minimal third-party services:
- Stripe: Payment processing (they don't receive journal data)
- Cloudflare: Site security and performance
- Plausible: Privacy-focused analytics (no personal data)
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication only. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party cookies.
Data Retention
Free accounts: Data stored locally in your browser.
Deep Mirror accounts: Data retained while account is active. Deleted 30 days after account closure.
Children's Privacy
MYTH & MIRROR is not intended for users under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
